About this role

  • We have an opportunity for someone to join our Project Delivery team in a full-time role, working across our business based in Cheltenham.

  • You will help drive the governance and successful delivery of key project outcomes for our major clients.

  • Working with our customers and technical team to define project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.

  • Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party.

  • Tracking costs to help deliver projects on budget and on time.

  • Updating detailed project plans and scheduling key project milestones & activities.

  • Tracking projects and providing regular reports on project status to key stakeholders.

  • Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget.

  • Managing the communication with our clients and key stakeholders, during a project, ensuring the project is delivered and closed positively.

  • Implementing our Green Project Management P5 Framework across all projects (GPM-b training will be provided)

 

Required skills & experience

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience in project coordination, project management, service delivery or other similar roles

  • A solid understanding of key technology solutions including computers, networking, cloud or software applications

  • Be able to demonstrate a working knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies.

  • Experience with PRINCE2, PMP or other project management disciplines

  • Understand the fundamentals of ITIL service management principles

  • Be able to work effectively and independently in a small team or as part of a larger programme of projects with larger commercial and enterprise organisations.

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Able to communicate effectively with internal teams and with customers of various types

  • Effective stakeholder management & conflict resolution skills

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and completeness in all job tasks

  • Desire to learn and grow in the role with further training and experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide project support across our customer projects and services

  • Tracking of project milestones and to internal and customer resources

  • Managing third party providers to SLA and deliverables

  • Support the Projects and Services Delivery Team with admin and reporting as required

Place in the Business

  • Reporting to the Operations Director, this role is part of the Green Project Delivery Team.

  • You will work with other experienced and skilled technical team members to successfully deliver projects for our clients.

  • The Service Delivery Manager will work closely with you to assign projects and work to you with the relevant technical resources and clients as required.
