Location: Cheltenham / Hybrid workplace

Job description:

Seeking experienced Application Developer with different levels of experience for one of our customers.

Responsibilities: 

  • Undertake activities in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.

  • Undertake production support work involving problem solving and troubleshooting errors that arise from the operation of business software systems; and

  • Work within a team to support and enable business areas through IT solutions. Main duties include:

    • Analysis/Design/Code/Test improvements to Import Systems as directed.

    • System documentation.

    • Software development and change release activities.

    • Stakeholder engagement and relationship management with business and technical stakeholders as required.

    • Assist troubleshooting and problem resolution activities arising from operational incidents.

    • Assist on Business As Usual development on systems applications;

    • Assist with Server modernisation project.

    • Backfill and assist on development project work on systems.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • C#, ASP.NET, WPF, MS SQL, Web API knowledge, Entity Framework, DevOps knowledge, TFS, Git/GitHub.

  • Design experience, requirements gathering and communication skills.

  • .NET Core, Angular, GraphQL, Azure AD B2C, Azure functions, messaging
